One Sunday a month is especially dedicated and designated as our “Children’s Service.” This special service is for the entire congregation but worship is lead by our children and youth participating in the readings, Holy Communion, offertory and in singing praises! (It is quite a refreshing and an enriching experience!)
12:00 PM Choir Practice
7:00 PM Neighborhood Crime Watch – (2nd Tuesday of the month)
12:00 PM Holy Eucharist and Healing Liturgy
11:00 AM Vestry Meeting – (3rd Sunday of the month)
Please note that coffee/tea and snacks will be available throughout Sunday morning.
The Coffee Hour is a social gathering that gives us the opportunity to build relationships between the members of our church family and also fellowship with guests and visitors. Despite its name, other beverages are always served together with a large variety of cookies, cakes, and other delicious morsels.
* Our coffee hour immediately follows the 10:00 am service.
On the last Sunday of the month, we have a special “Pot Luck” Coffee Hour. We welcome and thank you in advance for any culinary contribution you may wish to bring, as well as for any donations you may wish to make (such as juice, milk, paper goods, etc.).
This short and simple service helps people address the problems within their lives and the losses they have suffered.
This service is our primary religious activity during the week. The service begins with prayers and scripture readings. These are followed by homily or sermon provided by our Rector. Perhaps the most beautiful, and certainly the friendliest , part of the service is the “Passing of Peace,” which is passed from one person to another by smiles, handshakes, and hugs. The culmination of the service is the actual Eucharist or distribution of Communion. The altar is “God’s table” and all are welcome to come up to the rail and receive the sacrament of Holy Communion. The primary difference between the 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM services is that the 10:00 AM service is much richer in music.

This short and simple service helps people address the conflicts within the world that surround us.

At Christ Church, we truly believe that the youth are the future of our congregation. Our Sunday School provide our children with a basic understanding of what it means to be a Christian. Classes are available for children ages 3 years through 6th grade. Sunday School does not meet during the Summer months.
The youth group serves two functions. As a social gathering , it allows our adolescents and young adults to get to know each other as well as strengthen existing relationships. As an educational activity, it reinforces and expands upon the fundamental lessons taught in Sunday School by teaching them both the privileges and obligations of being a Christian. Our Youth Group meets most Sunday evenings, except during the summer months.
